Larissa Fassler (*1975, Vancouver, Kanada) lebt und arbeitet seit 1999 in Berlin. Fassler hat einen Master of Fine Arts vom Goldsmiths College, University of London. Ausgewählte Einzelausstellungen fanden unter anderem im Currier Museum of Art (Manchester, New Hampshire), im Bröhan Museum (Berlin), in der Esker Foundation (Calgary, Alberta) und im Canadian Cultural Centre (Paris) statt. Zu den wichtigsten Gruppenausstellungen gehören die National Gallery of Canada (Ottawa, Ontario), ein öffentlicher Kunstauftrag der KW Institute for Contemporary Art (Berlin) und die 11. Architekturbiennale in São Paulo. Ihre Arbeit wurde für den MAC International Contemporary Art Prize (Belfast) 2018 und den Berliner Kunstpreis 2019 nominiert.
